Abstract

The problems, methodology and main directions of phraseology and paremiology research in modern linguistics are considered. The focus is on the methodology of complex analysis such specific linguistic phenomena as phraseologism and riddle. Culturological, linguo-pragmatic and structural approaches to the study of precedent phenomena and cultural texts are characterized.
