Abstract

The article presents the opinions of foreign and local scientists about the concept of innovation and its essence. Forms of organization of innovation processes and a detailed theoretical analysis of the main stages of innovation processes are presented. As a result of the analysis, an author's definition of the term "innovation" was given. The strategic directions of effective organization of innovation processes that can be used in the Republic of Uzbekistan are given.
