Abstract

This article examines the Dynamics of the Competency Base English Language Didactics In Cameroon Education and its implementation in primary schools. The study was carried out through descriptive survey. The study population included primary school teachers in Cameroon. From this population. Samples of 50 primary schools were drawn using purposive sampling technique from the Center Region, Littoral and Southwest Region of Cameroon. The instruments used for data collection were: a questionnaire, document analysis and classroom observation checklist. Descriptive statistics namely: frequencies and percentages were used to analyze the data. The findings of the study showed that, majority of the primary schools teachers teaching in Cameroon primary schools lack the competency of teaching CBC of English language Syllabus, that aspect in the CBC English curriculum. in the current primary schools curriculum is a matter of core topic that cut crossed many other primary school subjects. The primary school teachers also lacked sufficient didactics for effective teaching of CBC of Primary School English Language Syllabus and other related topics. Conclusively, the study was that the implementation of the CBC English Syllabus curriculum is the solution to the massive poor repeated poor use of English Didactics Language at the Secondary and the Teriary level.
