Abstract

This article talks about phraseology and its subject, English and Uzbek scholars' views on phraseology in English and Uzbek languages. Phraseology is a set of phraseology in a particular language. Phraseology, as a branch of linguistics, aims to study the nature of phraseology, their categorical features, as well as to determine the laws of use of phraseology in speech.
